NLP Business Practitioner Courses in The Lake District

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) offers an approach and techniques to explore and put in motion the power of the unconscious mind. The detail of the Practitioner programme follows the syllabus set by ANLP (Association for Neuro Linguistic Programming) set in a business/work context.

TARGET GROUP

PROGRAMME FORMAT

NLP Business Practitioner Intensive consists of seven full days of training in a small group (max 12 participants) to ensure maximum benefit. The days are split over a number of weeks to enable participants to fit the programme around their work schedule.

The learning is practical and interactive………..and fun ! Throughout the course, participants will have numerous opportunities to practice and demonstrate their acquired knowledge.

VENUE

The lovely Macdonald Leeming House on Ullswater only 5 miles from junction 40 of the M6 motorway. The course venue has stunning views over the Lake and the Fells beyond.

Accommodation is available for delegates at preferential rates or there are numerous other alternatives close by.

COURSE FEES

From 1st January 2026 the fee for all 7 days of the course including all course materials, certification and catering is

£1,500 + Vat !

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the course and the certification criteria you will receive ‘NLP Business Practitioner’ Certification from the Association of NLP (ANLP).

Understanding the NLP Qualifications Structure

INTRODUCTION TO NLP

This can be as short as an evening or last a number of days. When this option is available, introduction courses provide you with a way to find out if NLP is for you and whether you like the trainer’s style.

DIPLOMA OR FOUNDATION

PRACTITIONER OR BUSINESS PRACTITIONER

You can start at this level without having first completed the Introduction or Diploma Level. There is, however, pre-course work to complete so that you start with a good basic knowledge of the principles.

There are a variety of different training formats available today and the most important principle to grasp is that one training course on its own will not make you a skilful practitioner. Becoming proficient with NLP ( as with any skill) requires practice of the right skills over time. ANLP (the awarding body) are particularly interested in promoting the importance of Continuous Professional Development and their levels of membership reflect that focus.

MASTER PRACTITIONER

Generally builds on the Practitioner material in far more depth, especially modelling, language, and considerable new material. Students develop skills to change beliefs and values in themselves and others in a way that fits their lifestyle, family and work systems.

Some Master Practitioner courses include modelling projects. Although these courses give you a basic understanding of the modelling process, you would be wise to take an advanced modelling course if you wish to specialise in this area.

TRAINER

For those people who would like to be able to deliver NLP Practitioner Training themselves, the next step is to take an NLP Trainers Training Course. This will equip you with the skills you need to be able to demonstrate NLP techniques and teach others to experience NLP. You will learn about course structure and presentation skills.

At present, it is widely accepted in the NLP Community that in order to deliver NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner courses, the trainer should hold a certified NLP Trainers certificate themselves.

MASTER TRAINER

Only a Master Trainer of NLP, or someone who has reached the equivalent standard within the Professional Guild, can deliver NLP Trainers Training and issue an NLP Trainers certificate to an NLP Trainer.

There are very few Master Trainers in the UK and ANLP has worked with all the other recognised NLP organisations in the UK to compile a definitive list of NLP Trainers who are recognised as being qualified to deliver Trainers Training. My training, as previous mentioned has been done with Sue Knight author of NLP at Work.

ABOUT THE TRAINER

Florence Madden is a certified NLP Trainer having trained with Sue Knight (author NLP At Work) in France and India, after completing Practitioner and Master Practitioner programmes with Sarah Frossell. More recently she has trained in New Code NLP with John Grinder and Generative Coaching with Robert Dilts and Stephen Gilligan.
